CLIENT INTAKE AND BRANDING
After receiving the completed intake form, We begin branding the website with the necessary digital imaging requirements. This is inclusive of any company logo, company business profile, fonts, colors, and images provided.
We integrate the approved content according to our page layouts using the chosen template’s inner-page layout which includes the Home Page, About Us Page, Contact Page, and up to two pages of your choice.
1ST REVISION CYCLE
Once we’ve completed the branding and content integration, our expert web managers review the first revision prior to submission for review. We provide you insight into the website in preparation for your first revision phase.
The first revision implementations should focus on the following feedback if required:
- Removal of sections
- Color scheme
Now is a great opportunity to review the content and branding is aligned. We focus on the feedback above to ensure we’re on the right track for getting your website up and running.
2ND REVISION CYCLE
During the second revision process, we focus on the following feedback points, and if a revision is required, the implementation will follow accordingly:
- Image Changes
- Content Integration
- Banner Elements (Not redesign)
- Social Media Links
PRE-LAUNCH QUALITY ASSURANCE
Once the revisions have been conducted and the necessary implementations completed, our Quality Assurance team scores the website and performs an in-depth review, ensuring the website is mobile-friendly and dynamically responsive for modern browsers and devices.
Once our QA team and developers complete the Quality Assurance process, we begin migrating the site to your host provider. During this period, our developers will require the access to hosting so please ensure the access credentials and tokens have been provided.
POST-LAUNCH QUALITY ASSURANCE AND HANDOVER
Once the site has been migrated, our Quality Assurance team goes through the site once more to ensure the site is fully functional and working as intended through our predefined checklist.
Below are the key requirements we need to efficiently start the web build to have the best turnaround time for you. Here are the access requirements:
- Approved Template, Colors and Typography
- Provided Content and Existing Assets
- Selected and Approved Shutterstock Images
- Logo And Branding Material
- SEO Intake form (for content creation)
1. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE A WEBSITE?
Our website development service levels normally complete within approximately 3 weeks for the Basic Web Design Package, approximately 3 to 4 weeks for the Basic Web Design plus Content Package, and depending on the scope of the web development, 4 to 6 weeks or more for the Advanced Web Design Package. Please note that these timelines can be met as long as all requirements (intake forms, payment, content, access credentials, etc.) are provided to us before the design phase begins.
2. WILL THE WEB PROJECT START AS SOON AS I MAKE PAYMENT?
Quality and speed of delivery are both important to us. Payment is part of the requirements needed to create the project timeline which defines the start date and finish dates of each stage of the web development cycle. Once we’ve received all requirements (intake forms, payment, content, access credentials, etc.), we can generate the project timeline within 24 hours. We highly recommend that all requirements are ready before payment as this helps our team complete the project within scope and the given timeline.
3. WHAT IS THE AVERAGE COST FOR A WEBSITE?
There are many factors that influence the cost of any given website. Our packaged solutions range from $1497 – $4497. In any event that your project requires more than what our packaged solutions offer, we would be happy to talk to you and provide you with a free assessment on any custom work.
4. DOES THIS INCLUDE HOSTING?
The website design packages do not include hosting. They only cover the website build and the site’s launch as well as 10 days of support after final launch.
5. WHAT TECHNOLOGIES DO YOU USE TO BUILD YOUR WEBSITES?
6. WHERE WILL YOU BUILD MY WEBSITE?
We create a white label hosting environment. The URL will be provided to you once we’ve completed our initial QA.
7. HOW MANY REVISIONS CAN I GET AND WHAT KIND OF REVISIONS CAN I REQUEST FOR?
We value our client’s insights and input. Your project includes two (2) revision rounds. The 1st round of revisions happens after the staging site or initial design is provided, you will be given 24 to 48 hours to provide all the design related revisions needed. The 2nd or last round of revisions happens after the content integration is completed and you will be provided 24 to 48 hours to provide all the content related.
8. CAN I GET ACCESS TO MY SITE WHILE THE SITE IS BEING BUILT?
We strongly discourage providing access to the site during the development phase. The credentials to the site are only turned over once they are hosted in the client server, after the final walkthrough and approval.
9. WHY WON’T YOU LAUNCH ON A FRIDAY?
Development best practices discourage launching of sites on Fridays. As most sites represent business that run on weekdays only, weekend launches may cause unforeseen errors that cannot be addressed in real time as our staff and most clients do not work on weekends.
